WATERFIELD HOUSE is inspected to assure the highest standards of cleanliness and safety for guests.  Our professional innkeeping staff is taking these additional precautions to reduce the risk of exposure to COVID19 pathogens.

Preventative Measures

There have been no cases of Coronavirus 2019 (COVID 19) reported in our area. Here are some additional steps we are taking to prevent exposure. Our small size also helps to further limit the risk of exposure since there are no crowds.

Condiments like salt, pepper, sugar, etc.. will be individually wrapped to avoid handling bottles.

Employees are required to wash their hands continuously throughout the day.

Sick employees will not be allowed to report to work

Shared surfaces such as door handles, railings, furniture, fixtures, remote controls, light switches and trash cans are disinfected (daily, Hourly, etc..)

Hand sanitizer will be available in common areas

Waterfield House is located in the small village of Bradford Peverell, just three miles north west of Dorchester.

The house sits on the banks of the famous River Frome chalk stream, with stunning views either from the Juliet balcony in your room, or various parts of the garden, over the river and the flood plains. There is plenty of wildlife to be enjoyed, including Kingfishers, Herons and Egrets and along the riverbank you can also see Brown Trout.

The King size bedroom has an en suite wet room / shower, separate bath, twin sinks and lavatory.

With off-road parking, no street lighting, the sound of the river gently flowing and magnificent views, Waterfield House makes a perfect place to relax and take in the beautiful Dorset countryside.

Waterside has stunning views overlooking the river and water meadows.

With a large private balcony accessed through the large glass patio doors, a small private courtyard at the rear of the building which is accessed from its own private gate and parking.

Waterside offers a luxury king-size bed, Ensuite, sofa, TV, and wardrobe.

The views of the rivers and wildlife are simply breathtaking. Breakfast included alongside tea/coffee making facilities and a small fridge.
